I don't use the word 'haunted' lightly — I never have. But I also won't ignore what's in front of me when the data starts pointing somewhere I can't explain.

The Investigation

Tonight's the night — I'm going live at 8:30 PM EST and I want you there with me. Whether you're a longtime member of the TAPS family or you're just starting to explore the world of paranormal investigation, this is your open invitation to pull up a chair and be part of the conversation. These community hangouts are some of my favorite moments, because this work has never been just about me — it's always been about all of us.

Findings

I've spent decades walking through dark hallways, setting up equipment in places that most people wouldn't spend five minutes in alone, and asking the hard questions that nobody else wanted to ask. But if there's one thing I've learned after all these years — from the earliest days of TAPS right through every season of Ghost Hunters — it's that the community surrounding this work is just as important as the investigations themselves. Tonight, I want to reconnect with that community in real time.

These live hangouts are something I genuinely look forward to. No scripted segments, no production schedules, no editors cutting away at the good stuff. Just me, my thoughts, and all of you firing questions and sharing your own experiences. I'm a skeptic first — I always have been — and that means I love a good debate. If you've had an experience you can't explain, bring it. If you think you've got a rational explanation for something that's been written off as paranormal, I want to hear that too. That back-and-forth is exactly how we get closer to the truth.

I also know a lot of you have been following along with some of the locations we've been working on recently, including activity surrounding the Conjuring House up in Rhode Island. That location has a history that is genuinely difficult to dismiss, and I'm always happy to talk through what we've documented there, what still needs explaining, and what I think the evidence actually supports. I'll say this much — I don't use the word 'haunted' lightly. I never have. But I also won't ignore what's in front of me when the data starts pointing in a direction I can't account for through conventional means. Tonight might be a good night to get into some of that.

So clear your schedule, grab whatever you're drinking, and meet me in the live chat at 8:30 PM EST sharp. I'll be taking your questions, sharing some of what's been on my mind lately, and just spending some real time with the people who make this community worth showing up for. This is what it's all about — not the fame, not the television, but the genuine shared curiosity about what lies beyond what we can easily explain. I'll see you tonight.

Verdict

These live sessions remind me why I started TAPS in the first place — not to chase ghosts for entertainment, but to build a community of serious, curious people who want real answers. Tonight is for all of you, and I can't wait to connect. Set your reminder and meet me at 8:30 PM EST.
